10 Ups And 6 Downs From WWE SummerSlam 2019

5. Not Paid By The Hour

No one was expecting a 60-minute broadway between Dolph Ziggler and Goldberg, but Sunday night was nothing short of a massacre.

Ziggler hit a surprise superkick, and then another, before he was cut in half with a spear and put away with a Jackhammer, less than two minutes into the match. But that wasn’t it for the segment.

Dolph got his hands on a mic and said it felt like he was getting hit by a baby, calling Goldberg back to the ring to face him like a man, which the Hall-of-Famer obliged. Another spear followed, and then Ziggler grabbed the mic again, still writhing on the mat, and called him out again.

And once again, Goldberg obliged and demolished the Show-Off with a third spear. It was a somewhat baffling scene, with a delusional Dolph being ragdolled by Goldberg, but fans got what they paid for: pyro, a massive spear and a Jackhammer.
