Far be it to complain about a WWE PPV ending before 11pm (EST), but it certainly felt like several of the matches Sunday night ended somewhat abruptly, and the 10:30pm finish to the PPV seemed to bear that out.

What was the reasoning for this? A few matches ended just as they were ramping up, while others, while technically sound, were slow and methodical, which is not what you typically would want at a show like this. Ricochet/AJ Styles in particular was one that really seemed stuck in the mud.

Overall, SummerSlam was a good show, but had several matches put the hammer down and gotten a few more minutes, this could have been a blow-away show rather than just a pretty good one.
