Ignore the real-life romantic subplot and eventual tragedy involving Kevin Sullivan, Chris Benoit, and Nancy 'Woman' Sullivan/Benoit for a moment, because it really is vital if any modern wrestling fan is going to take enjoyment from this match at WCW's Great American Bash 1996 pay-per-view.

A 'Falls Count Anywhere' Match that could have lasted twice as long and still been enjoyable, this ten-minute fight started the perfect way by having Sullivan forgo a usual entrance routine to run at Benoit and begin the brawling.

That sets the tone for a match which would quickly leave the ring and see both guys scrapping everywhere from in the stands to the men's bathroom inside the Baltimore Arena. Again, it may only be ten minutes long, but Benoit and Sullivan managed to cram an awful lot of content into that relatively short period of time.

The fact there was not another match on the card that could come close to the intensity of this one greatly helps it. This is one of WCW's most under-rated gems.
