10 Vicious Wrestling Brawls Nobody Talks About
4. Shane McMahon Vs. The Big Show (WWF Backlash 2001)
It's fascinating to think that Shane McMahon's match with 'Attitude Era' mid-carder Steve Blackman from SummerSlam 2000 is more fondly remember than his 'Last Man Standing' brawl with The Big Show just shy of one year later at Backlash 2001.
Everyone points to Shane's insane jump from the SummerSlam entrance set, even though the same people strangely miss out the similar stunt he pulled against Show around eight months later.
Just removed from toppling his own father at WrestleMania X-Seven, the devil-may-care outlook of Shane came to the fore once again as he and Show pulled together one of 2001's most overlooked matches. Honestly, when was the last time anybody recalled this one when talking about great Shane-O-Mac moments?
This is an easy watch even today, and - notably - is much less tedious than Shane's Hell In A Cell bout with The Undertaker from WrestleMania 32. Shane vs. Show moves with a slicker pace, so it deserves to be watched by those who have glossed over it.
