10 Vince McMahon Matches You Completely Forgot About

9. Vince McMahon, Vladimir Kozlov, Drew McIntyre, Jack Swagger, Mark Henry, & Batista Vs. John Cena

Vince McMahon John Cena
WWE

An announced Vince McMahon/John Cena match to main event an early 2010 episode of Raw was turned into a gauntlet match when the Boss decided to use some of the company's midcard heels to outmuscle 'The Champ'.

Vince had delivered one of his vaunted guarantees on being able to pin Cena, partly to antagonise 'The Leader of the Cenation', but also to prove his worth ahead of his hotly-anticipated WrestleMania XXVI match with Bret Hart.

The match followed a loose formula. Vince would wave out a heel (in order: Vladimir Kozlov, Drew McIntyre, Jack Swagger, Mark Henry, then Cena's own 'Mania opponent Batista), and have them dish out a beating before ordering a tag to allow him to claim the victory.

'Big Match John' was too resilient, so Vince moved the goalposts again, making the match 'No Disqualification' and triggering discontent from Mark Henry who refused to nail Cena with the ringbell at McMahon's behest.

Henry was quickly made the victim of Batista - Vince's final goon. After a fleeting comeback from Cena, a Batista Bomb completed the job, with Vince getting his wish of the humbling deciding fall.
