10 Vince McMahon Moments Netflix WON’T Talk About

1. His Big Pitch To Stephanie

Praise the wrestling Gods (not Backlash 2006 "Gods") that this one didn't happen.

At some point before Stephanie gave birth to her first child in 2006, Vince had a plan. He pitched during a conference call with Bruce Prichard and others that he be revealed as his own pregnant daughter's baby daddy. According to Bruce, everybody involved in the call froze and nobody knew what to say.

Shane McMahon said on a 2018 episode of the 'Opie Radio' podcast that he's thankful to Prichard for putting the brakes on that particular story beat, but he didn't doubt that Vince would suggest something like that. Imagine it! Shane was barely shocked that this came up in an official meeting.

Netflix will stay away from this. It didn't happen, which makes that easier, and they won't want viewers thinking Vince is some sort of sicko who'd willingly pretend that he impregnated his own flesh and blood for a wrestling angle. Who'd do that, eh?
