10 Ways A Brand Split Would Help WWE Right Now

6. A Real Women's Revolution

Back in the summer when Stephanie McMahon introduced three new women onto the main roster and branded it a Divas Revolution, it wasn't handled very well and in reality, it's only been the last month or two where we've had a gripping female storyline with Becky and Charlotte. If WWE opted to do a brand split, the Women's Champion would be able to appear on both shows, which means that there'd be two rosters of women all vying to compete for the Championship, while the champion becomes a marked woman who has to defend her title against all comers. With the amount of female talent on the independent scene today, there's no reason WWE couldn't try to hire more women to fill both rosters. Alternatively, the other option in the Brand Split world is that the Divas Championship, which would hopefully be re-christened the Women's title would be exclusive to one brand. Maybe the womens wrestling is on RAW whereas the female valets and the more 'Diva' type characters can be found on Thursday nights. It would mean one brand would get the chance to see Sasha Banks battle the likes of Charlotte while the other brand would have Lana, Eva Marie and others. No matter which option you went with, it would be nice to see more women featured on the main roster and having them on both brands opens up new spots for women from NXT as well as hiring talented women from across the world, getting them used to the company through NXT before bringing them up to their designated roster.
