How unbelievable is it to think that the man who inspired the Yes! Movement, stood tall at the end of WrestleMania XXX, and had a storied career on the independent wrestling circuit prior to any of his WWE success never had a ***** match from Dave Meltzer?

Wrestling since 1999, Bryan Danielson has put on technical wrestling masterclasses in just about every promotion under the sun, and yet it took this match, his in-ring debut in AEW, for him to finally achieve this landmark.

Battling then-Champion Kenny Omega to a thirty-minute time limit draw to open AEW: Grand Slam, Danielson crafted yet another instant classic with the Best Bout Machine and has only continued his excellent run since then.

Following this, Danielson has made the most of every second he has had in an AEW ring, be it battling through the AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament, decimating members of The Dark Order in their home towns, or his duo of near-perfect matches with Adam Page.

Danielson's sixty-minute draw with Page at Winter Is Coming became Danielson's second 5-star match in his career, and while at the time of writing the rating for their rematch on Dynamite's TBS debut is unknown, one cannot imagine it would score any lower than their first battle.
