Both Brock Lesnar and Big Van Vader have had rivalries with the Undertaker, and in both cases these feuds led to exciting and incredibly memorable wrestling matches. In Vaders case, his feud with the Undertaker was part of a greater rivalry between Undertaker and his ex-manager Paul Bearer. Bearer used Vader as another protégé, and used Vader to get revenge on Undertaker after he abandoned his manager. Vader, himself an excellent worker, had some great matches with Undertaker throughout 1997, which was a breath of fresh air given that the majority of Takers other bigger opponents ended up being poor wrestlers. However, Lesnar had a much more memorable feud with the Undertaker. Taker was one of the first major WWE legends that Lesnar defeated during his initial push in 2002, which included several big matches like their HIAC match at No Mercy 2002. Even back then, Lesnar was a formidable opponent for Taker, and rarely, if ever, did Undertaker get the upper hand against him. Then theres the fact that Lesnar ended the Undertakers Streak, which is the biggest achievement conceivable in WWE. In doing so, Lesnar guaranteed himself a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame somewhere down the road. That is more than Vader can boast about, as Vader had an interesting feud with the Undertaker, but was nowhere near as successful.
