8. A Killer Survivor Series Angle
In the last two years, it seems that Survivor Series can be used as a star-making vehicle. We've seen Becky Lynch stand tall with a bloodied nose before the show in 2018 and Keith Lee deliver a tremendous performance against Roman Reigns in 2019.
These moments not only gave credibility to the black and gold brand, but also attracted more mainstream appeal. AJ Styles showing up at Full Sail University with the OC in hand was a really cool moment. Survivor Series 2019 gave NXT the rub by winning the night overall and making stars out of a lot of NXT talent (Unfortunately not Walter) but Roderick Strong, Keith Lee and Rhea Ripley all looked great coming off the back of that show.
This is what NXT needs in 2020. Whether it be an invasion angle or a stellar showing by the current NXT champions against the main roster champions. Survivor Series can make stars, and NXT should utilise this.
