1. Roman Reigns Will Main Event WrestleMania
Take a second just to think about this if you will. Unless things drastically change like they did in 2014, the WrestleMania 31 event will be Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns. Chances are that Roman will win that match, defeaing the unstoppable Beast who CM Punk, Big Show, The Undertaker, John Cena, and Seth Rollins all failed to take down. Does the WWE really expect anyone to buy that? It's baffling to think that this time last year, WWE fans would have loved nothing more than to see Roman throw Batista out of the ring to claim the top spot at WrestleMania. The difference in how the crowd reacts to him 364 days later is startling, but back then he was the the explosive Roman Reigns who would come in off a hot tag to destroy everyone. The Roman Reigns who ended The Shield's promos with an authoritative, "Buh-lieve Dat!" Now? Roman is the guy who can barely carry a singles match. He's the guy who relies on the same old sequence of moves to take down an opponent. He's the guy who delivered so many bad promos in the few shot weeks he's been back, there are already YouTube videos making fun and ridiculing his terrible skills on the mic. How this can now be salvaged remains to be seen, but The Road to WrestleMania is looking bleak. A lot depends on how the crowds treat Roman moving forwards as it was them who got Daniel Bryan into the main event last year. The fact that there were mass cancellations of subscriptions to the WWE network following the Royal Rumble should serve as an indication to Vince McMahon and company that they've made a huge error anyway...
