10 Ways Royal Rumble Proves 2015 Will Be A Bad Year For WWE Fans

3. A SmackDown Main Event

The final four participants competing for the main event spot at WrestleMania should really be the best part of the entire match. However, you would have to be stupid to think anyone other than Roman Reigns would walk out the winner at this point. Kane vs. Brock Lesnar? Big Show vs. Brock Lesnar? Yeah, neither of those would ever happen! Sure, you can argue that Rusev stood a chance, but not really. At the end of the day, the closing moments of this year's Royal Rumble match really weren't all that different to what has been seen every week on SmackDown for the past few months. If you want to make Roman Reigns look strong and have him earn the respect of fans, why not pit him against the likes of Bray Wyatt and Dean Ambrose here? Instead, he's facing off against the men he routinely beats up on Raw and SmackDown, making his Royal Rumble victory possibly the easiest and most undeserved in recent memory. Ultimately, don't be surprised if this is a sign of things to come over the next couple of months!
