10 Ways This Has Been The Best WWE WrestleMania Build In YEARS!

7. Superstar Midcarders

For the first time in forever, the wrestlers outside of WWE's handful of golden geese feel like larger-than-life characters themselves, rather than extras hovering in the background.

That's not to say there haven't been a handful of midcard success stories in the past few years - last year's Mysterio vs. Mysterio build-up was a delight and led to Dominik becoming the most hated person in WWE - but for the most part, the midcard has felt cobbled together, with wrestlers either being shoved together in matches (last year's Tag Team Showcases) or given forgettable storylines.

Not so for WrestleMania XL. Now, WWE's midcard troth doth runneth over with wrestlers who legitimately deserve to be called superstars. LA Knight vs. AJ Styles pits one of the WWE's most over talents against one of its most beloved veterans; the recently announced six-woman tag match contains future Hall of Famers Asuka and Bianca Belair, as well as the WWE's next big thing in Jade Cargill; and the men's midcard belts are being fought over by a veritable host of hugely talented, charismatic wrestlers (more on whom later).

A great PPV needs a great midcard, and WrestleMania XL's has the potential to be an all-time classic.
