10 Ways TNA Can Get Fans To Again "Cross the Line"

2. Forget About WCW And ECW

TNA Hardcore Justice 2010 With Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan now gone from TNA it is time to truly forget the past. You will never replicate the nWo or the intensity of early ECW (especially in this day of age with concussion medicine) so just stop trying. Yes, the Monday Night Wars were a great thing back in the day, but those days are long gone and it is time to evolve and move forward. Stop creating cheap knockoffs of the nWo (Immortals/Aces & 8's) or blatantly copying WWE and holding ECW ppvs. If you wish to utilize the former talent by all means go ahead but re-brand them as TNA stars. Don't try to live off of their past glories, create new ones to set the standard. The thing about the WWE ties to the past is that they own the WCW and ECW brands. So they have every right to milk it as much as they can. Plus they have a certain responsibility to the fans to not let these iconic moments of wrestling history to be forgotten. TNA don't. The company should be the vision for the future, not a rehash of the past. Why would you anyway, we all saw the aftermath and considering a vast majority of TNA stars were not even old enough to wrestle back then speaks volumes. Don't try to relive the Attitude, create a new Attitude. And that won't happen as long as you cling to the past in some vein hope that you will see a rise of ratings. For you won't, for two reasons. One, it makes you look like a cheap knock off desperate for attention. And two, this is the internet age people, which has seemingly been forgotten by both companies. Television is a dying format so ratings will NEVER be what they were and will only continue on a downward spiral until television is finally replaced. Embrace the new, discard the old. And speaking of other federations....

Passions in life: Movies, Music and Wrestling....My childhood was spent growing up in the "Outback" of Australia (I'm a little bit country) and my adulthood resided within the city limits (I'm a little bit rock and roll), so you could say that I am the best (or worst) of both worlds. A 6 foot 7 ex wannabe pro wrestler (whose career was cut short due to a busted back, NOT caused by wrestling) & muso who has a precocious cat & a habit of doing the wrong thing but for the right reasons. The story of my life???? All demos, no albums ;)
