10 Ways TNA Can Get Fans To Again "Cross the Line"

3. Re-instate Jeff Jarratt And Hire Jim Cornette As Consultant

I want to clarify this straight away. I am not a fan of ol' Slapnuts as a wrestler, never have been and I never will. Plus his behind the scenes behaviour leaves a lot to be desired. But I know a damn takeover when I see one and the company was literally stolen from the guy when he was actually attempting to achieve something with the TNA product. And since his demise hasn't it all gone downhill? Say what you want about Jarratt (and I will, ha), he had an idea on how to shake up the pro wrestling industry that gave us all hope for the future and regardless of its low points throughout the years (Giving himself an endless title run for a start) he offered us all a true alternative to the WWE. And when Jim Cornette was on board everything seemed to be going in the right direction. We had credible champions, awesome rivalries and a Womens division second to none. But what a mind blowing decision it was to let him go in favour of....Vince Russo and the Unholy Trinity. Yes you heard that right. It was actually an amicable decision on both parties, but to get rid of the guy who brought your company to the forefront and replace him with the creative team that sent WCW out of business? That has got to be In my opinion the worst business decision in the entire 100+ years of wrestling history. And we all know the aftermath don't we. There have been rumors that Cornette is interested in buying Panda Energy's share of the company as of late and if I was management, this is the only way I'd go. But if this is untrue, I would immediately rehire him anyway, at least as a consultant. I mean, you don't have to keep him on forever but at least get him and Jarratt back on board for the time being just to get the product moving in the right direction once again. And just to add, I think giving Sting a "Hall of Fame" spot over Double J is offensive even to me, and I don't even like the guy? And shows just how much of a douchebag Sting is in my opinion for accepting it, but I have already mentioned my opinions on the man in another article (which you can read by clicking here), so lets move on.

Passions in life: Movies, Music and Wrestling....My childhood was spent growing up in the "Outback" of Australia (I'm a little bit country) and my adulthood resided within the city limits (I'm a little bit rock and roll), so you could say that I am the best (or worst) of both worlds. A 6 foot 7 ex wannabe pro wrestler (whose career was cut short due to a busted back, NOT caused by wrestling) & muso who has a precocious cat & a habit of doing the wrong thing but for the right reasons. The story of my life???? All demos, no albums ;)
