2. Build To Televised, Clash Of The Champions-Style "Supercards"

Younger wrestling fans know Clash Of The Champions as just another old WCW show on the WWE Network, but older fans know how special the Clash events used to be. They were, for all intents and purposes, free pay-per-view events that aired live on television. There were debuts, title changes, heel/face turns, storyline advancements, etc... everything you would get on pay-per-view, and the wrestlers treated it as such. It was a beautiful thing. With word coming out that Lockdown is going to be aired on Destination America instead of pay-per-view, that provides for a good opportunity to bring in more fans to the promotion. Even the biggest TNA supporters would be the first to tell you that the company's pay-per-view numbers were downright awful. Why even bother with that formula anymore? Like Lockdown, TNA should be airing special events like Clash Of The Champions on Destination America every now and then. Maybe something like once every two or three months, just to keep them somewhat fresh. They would have to be different from the average episode of Impact, of course. A lot less talking, and a lot more big matches. Have some new signings make their debuts on the "Clash" events. The main events should be TNA World Title defenses or involving major blood feuds. Make these must-see events that people will want to watch. Look at it as a reward to those loyal fans for sticking through everything with you.
