10 Ways To Make Cesaro A WWE Main Event Star

Just what could WWE do to make Cesaro a headliner?

The real-life Claudio Castagnoli is an excellent professional wrestler. For anyone who regularly watches WWE programming, that statement is very much obvious every single time Cesaro steps foot inside the ring. The man's matches are routinely enjoyable, and he gets a decent reaction from fans more often than not. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be enough reason to push him in the eyes of the promotion's most powerful. During an interview hosted by Steve Austin earlier this year, Vince McMahon outright said that he felt the Swiss star was missing something he needed to become a huge star. It was a strange statement to make publicly, and didn't go down well with the hardcore wrestling community at large. Many felt that instead of borderline bashing Cesaro, McMahon should have spent his time working alongside him. That kind of thing is exactly what this article is all about. Just what could World Wrestling Entertainment do to try and make Cesaro a fixture at the top of the card? It's perhaps going to take a lot more than simply having good matches, WWE are going to need to really get behind him too. Without the aid of those booking him, Cesaro will continue to flounder. As the likes of Mick Foley and Jim Ross have pointed out, that would be an unbelievable waste of talent.
