7. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion Appears On Both Shows
We're heading back to the future here, taking inspiration from the territory days when the NWA Champion would appear on a catalogue of shows in special title defence matches. You see, having one champion reign over both rosters will make the belt more special, and heighten the profile of the Superstar holding it. It also opens up the possibility of said Superstar doing more of the media appearances that comes with the status of being face of WWE. Vince McMahon will love that. More importantly, it takes away that modicum of burn out from the top talent. They can have a run climbing to the top of the mountain, before having a bit of a breather from the daily grind of in-ring activity once they get there. Seth Rollins must have been praying for something like this to happen during his run as WWE World Heavyweight Champion last year. The company worked that poor man down to the bone before injury put him on the shelf. This move has got to be best for business, right?
