From the very first episode of Nitro on September 4th, 1995 all the way to its finale on March 26th, 2001, the in-ring product was always a treat to watch. The caliber of the matches they were giving away on television was astounding, to the point where you could expect to see a match like Sting vs. Ric Flair on Nitro and not think twice about it. Nitro was clearly the place to go if you wanted great wrestling, as every week felt like a pay-per-view event worthy of a WrestleMania or a Starrcade. Today, the week-to-week wrestling on Raw leaves a lot to be desired and lacks that flavor of some of the best Nitro matches. WWE could learn a lot from what WCW did every week, and even on their PPV's, as they made their television shows mean so much more.
