10 Ways WWE 2K14 Is Better Than Actual WWE Television

1. Proper Weapon Shots

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jY5EU1DGBc The poor quality of chair shots is becoming increasingly cringe-worthy in the modern day WWE. A chair to the head was one of the best visual devices that a wrestler could use back in the day, but now we have the ludicrous situation in which a wrestler will hit an opponent on the back with a chair, even when a head shot is far easier to administer. The reason for this is that WWE has banned head shots because of the link to brain damage. That's admirable, but done properly and by the right people, a chair to the head is no more dangerous than many other WWE finisher moves. The best workers can tap someone on the skull and make it look like they've powered up a knock-out shot that could slay a giant. Nevertheless, the chair-to-the-head ban remains, and it makes for some awkward viewing. On many occasions the opponent is clearly positioning their back to get hit, and the striker is also struggling to make an unnatural shot angle look convincing. Yet in WWE 2K14, order is restored. Chair shots land square on the head with a clunk, and it's more realistic and entertaining than WWE's version of chair strikes. The fun doesn't stop there though€“ there's mean-looking sledgehammer shots, tables, ladders. It's all in here, and in all its unsanitized glory. WWE 2K14 is the aggressive artform that WWE TV used to be ... and for many fans they won't be coming back to Raw until Vince McMahon lifts the restrictions on his broadcast product. The TV show used to lead the video game, now the game is showing the broadcast the way in terms of what is entertaining. Isn't that kind of sad?
