10 Ways WWE Can Fix Their Broken Face/Heel Alignment System

2. Babyfaces Shouldn't Be Terrible People

Roman Reigns has been continually portrayed as the worst person in the universe throughout his run as 'The Guy.'

Personality-wise, he's an insufferable, smug jackass who oozes cockiness, and rarely shows humility. Last August saw 'The Big Dog' out himself as a needlessly petty bully by ruining Rusev and Lana's wedding ceremony. He has continually treated beloved WWE Superstars such as The Undertaker like dirt, and his character legitimately tried to kill Braun Strowman after their Ambulance match at Great Balls Of Fire.

... so why on Earth would anyone want to root for this guy?

Reigns is the most obvious example, but he's far from alone. WWE's 'good guys' are often just as detestable as the people the company want us to boo, and while the likes of The Rock and Hulk Hogan's magnetic charisma overrode their questionable behaviour, the same can't be said for Roman.

Babyfaces should be honourable, moralistic, and likeable. This sounds like the most obvious statement in the world, but it's a concept WWE just don't grasp anymore. The company must replace dishonour and dastardly deeds with genuine altruism, and if they don't, they'll never build another era-defining face again.
