It's been so long since we've seen a WWE Draft that it feels like I'm going back a couple generations, but it's only been three years since the last one. Why not bring it back? While I think we've moved beyond the part of the storylines where Raw and Smackdown are always competing against each other and creating fake animosity, I think it might behoove WWE to have a bit of a split again. Set whatever "rules" you want... anyone holding a title can "float" from one show to another, etc... but stick to it. We damn sure don't need brand-exclusive pay-per-views like we saw in the mid-2000s, where we got events like Judgment Day 2004, which saw the following matches take place: - Torrie Wilson VS Dawn Marie - Scotty 2 Hotty VS Mordecai - Charlie Haas & Rico VS Hardcore Holly & Billy Gunn - Miss Jacqueline VS Chavo Guerrero - John Cena VS Rene Dupree I feel the need to point this out again... that was all on the same show that they expected you to pay to watch. No need for all that. Just keep the Raw guys wrestling on Raw, have the Smackdown guys wrestling on Smackdown, and have them all appearing on pay-per-views, just not facing each other. Save the inter-promotional stuff for WrestleMania, and maybe even for a cross-promotion pay-per-view like Bragging Rights used to be. When you combine this with the use of more wrestlers and NXT workers, you have what could end up being several months worth of fresh matches at your disposal, maybe even enough to last you a year, which would carry you right up to the next Draft, where it starts over again.
