10 Ways WWE Can Turn Around Its Ratings Woes
9. Make Triple H The Man In Charge
Vince McMahon deserves a lot of credit for what he's done with WWE over the years but he's blatantly out of touch and no longer fit to be in charge of RAW and SmackDown. Reports of him tearing up the show's scripts hours before they go on the air are frequent and the worst creative decisions and storylines are more often than not credited to him.
To an extent, he may be used as a scapegoat but it's clear that the company's flagship shows need new leadership (and we're not talking about Eric freakin' Bischoff).
Even at two hours, NXT remains vastly better than RAW and SmackDown and that's because Triple H is in charge. It's clear from interviews with The Game that he has very different ideas about how things should be run and it's no coincidence that mysterious creatures in cages and people being covered in dog food are the "highlights" of Vince's shows, while NXT continues to deliver actual character development and solid in-ring action.
Sorry, Vince...it's time to let someone else play the game.
