10 Ways WWE Should Book King Of The Ring 2021
1. Queen Of The Ring
Their PR based promotion of first the Divas and then Women’s Revolution may have appeared overkill, but WWE does deserve a ton of credit for the wonderful revitalization and progression of its women’s division. In the days of women scouted preferably for sex appeal rather than athleticism, WWE’s female superstars could only dream of competing in Hell in a Cell Matches, main eventing WrestleMania and having a female exclusive tag-team division.
Largely due to the impact of NXT and their enhanced focus on giving women’s wrestling a mainstream never before seen platform in WWE, female competitors and women’s matches are seen as far more equal to that of their male counterparts. Today, it would be quicker to list the number of accomplishments women have yet to achieve, in regards to anything a man can do so can women, than those they have achieved. The gap has truly been narrowed that substantially.
One opportunity women in WWE have yet to be afforded, is their own King Of The Ring tournament. As the years go by no Queen Of The Ring tournament in WWE has been held, the injustice grows. Simply put, the women of WWE deserve a Queen Of The Ring tournament. This would be a no-frills, traditional KOTR tournament, as the women take centre stage to fight for the right to be crowned the first WWE Queen Of The Ring.
Make it happen WWE.
