10 Ways WWE SummerSlam 2015 Could've Been Saved

7. Have Braun Strowman Debut At SummerSlam Instead Of On RAW

It’s often said that wins and losses don’t matter in WWE (at least according to Nikki Bella) and if they do, then it’s only the PPV wins that are actually taken seriously (you can thank WWE’s commentators and writers for not making every win/loss feel like part of something bigger, leading to them being literally traded from week to week).

The rivalry between Ambrose & Reigns and the Wyatt Family reached a major point at SummerSlam, and ended in such a way that it gave off the message that, 'even though Reigns and Ambrose won a big match, stay tuned tomorrow to see this rematch take place, for no other reason than to keep these four guys busy’.

Because it was a major PPV, it would’ve been the perfect opportunity for WWE to debut Braun Strowman as the Wyatt Family’s newest member.

Having Strowman demolish Reigns on a major show like this would’ve not only given him (and the Wyatt Family) increased credibility, but it would’ve also made the show (and the rivalry) feel more special, since that destruction would take place on PPV instead of during a throwaway segment on RAW.

With both Wyatt and Reigns in dire need of a long feud to elevate both men, it would’ve been better for Strowman to come in and demolish Reigns and Ambrose at a historical event, adding more surprise to a show that was in need of better shocks than what it actually witnessed.
