10 Ways WWE SummerSlam 2015 Could've Been Saved

6. Divas Match Option #1: One Person Gets Eliminated At A Time

WWE’s philosophy of sticking as many people onto a show as possible is tiresome. When you add more people to a show, it makes the matches and storylines more difficult to follow or justify. Nowhere was this more problematic than the Divas tag team match, where one pin or submission led to an entire team being eliminated.

The whole point of the supposed ‘Divas Revolution’ is that individuals are making change, and yet the new faces of the division are put into trios, because apparently that allows more of them to benefit from screen time. And yet, this match was not well thought out.

Team B.A.D. was eliminated in its entirety when Tamina got pinned by Brie Bella. That robbed the WWE Universe of seeing the rest of the team in action, and highlighted the problem of the match’s stipulation.

What should’ve happened instead was that only one person would get eliminated at a time, not the whole team. That alone would’ve led to an entirely different (and more exciting) match, which would’ve allowed fans to see the best of all of the participants.

Imagine seeing team PCB down to one member being forced to take on both Bellas and all of Team B.A.D., for example. With the amount of time they were given for this match, they could’ve done so much more and had a much more dramatic and deeper match than the one that took place at SummerSlam.
