10 Ways WWE Will Mess Up Seemingly Perfect Gimmicks
3. Roman Reigns - Undoing The Best Run Of His Career
Jey Uso's conqueror is the best thing about WWE programming right now. Everything has clicked since Roman Reigns returned with Paul Heyman in tow, and Roman's quickly won the fans over with some world-class heel work - especially trash-talking opponents during matches. Those acting chops he pulled out for Hell In A Cell were a thing of beauty.
That is why the absolute worst thing WWE could do right now is to try and capitalise on his newfound popularity by turning him babyface again to sell those sweet, sweet t-shirts. Now that he is finally getting over by being a cool, badass bad guy, it would be so Vince McMahon to attempt to flip him back to being the moral compass of the company: the John Cena 2.0.
Roman has to stay on this course at all costs. Be this character way beyond the return of full capacity crowds, with the odd tweak here and there.
You've finally got your chosen one over, WWE. Don't screw it up now. Chances are when live crowds return they'll be cheering for him anyway.
