9. Talent Under Contract That Never Make Appearances
As stated in the previous entry; WCW at one point had 260 wrestlers under contract. Some of these wrestlers, such as Lanny Poffo and Kevin Walcholz, never made an appearance for the company. In todays WWE; David Otunga, Rey Mysterio and Christian are all under contract (in the case of Rey against his will) but not making appearances for the company. Its a small thing but indicative of a pattern of historical repetition; but it makes even less sense today as WWE has no sizable competition as they did when WCW was still on the go. WCW clearly were holding onto these talents in case they could add something to their competitors product; but with the reported WWE attitude being that TNA and other organizations are not genuine competition you have to question why they are doing this.
