Joe Hendry Wins Kurt Angle Rumble

Much has changed for Joe Hendry since he won the Kurt Angle Invitational Rumble and then took the WWE Hall Of Famer to his limits at October's Refuse To Lose. Now part of The Prestige, the aloof Scot has turned his back on fans who cheered him on as he ousted EC3 from the ring and secured a dream match.

A renewed aura of arrogance may well make Hendry more dangerous than he was during last year's Rumble, because his sense of entitlement is greater than it was before.

Looking back to the Kurt Angle Invitational, the Edinburgh native boasts three eliminations. Not only did he hurl Primate and Ethan Carter III over the top rope, the self-confident swagger of Hendry allowed him to eliminate the veteran Doug Williams by pinfall earlier in the match.

It's uncertain as yet whether Joe Hendry will factor in the Kurt Angle invitiational. He is challenging for the WCPW Internet title in a triple threat match against Gabriel Kidd and current champion Cody Rhodes. If he does, he could be a genuine threat to Galloway's title.
