10 Weakest WWE Return Pops Ever

Jake 'The Snake' Roberts' complete lack of pop upon returning during Old School Raw on 6 January 2014 was unforgivable. Here was one of the greatest heels of all time with an incredible real-life comeback story, making his first WWE appearance in nine years, and the vast majority of the crowd didn't even know who he was.

The return came on the back of a lengthy battle with drug and alcohol addiction, which Jake successfully overcame after moving in with Diamond Dallas Page in October 2012. Roberts kicked his destructive habits, lost 50lbs, and regained much of his old mobility, claiming that if it wasn't for DDP, he'd likely be dead. Sadly, the Baltimore, Maryland crowd didn't recognise this: the announcers (and Dean Ambrose) marked out, but most of the audience did not.

The pop was disappointing, but Jake was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame later that year. He gave one of the most rousing induction speeches WWE has ever seen at the ceremony, which more than makes up for the reception he received on Raw. Regardless, put 6 January in a bubble, and it's a huge letdown.
