10 Weird Wrestling Injuries

1. X-Pac Tears His Anus - 2013

Sean Waltman

Sean Waltman will always be best known for his Attitude Era-WWE run as X-Pac, and one of X-Pac's primary moves was the Broncobuster -- a maneuver where the executor charges at the recipient and repeatedly slams his rear into the man's chest, holding onto the ropes for leverage. The move looks silly, but it became incredibly popular, so that pretty much guaranteed that Waltman would have to use it in every match for the rest of his career.

In 2013, Jerry Lynn embarked on a retirement tour, and it was natural that Waltman, a longtime friend of Lynn's, would participate. Both were involved in a four-way match in Minneapolis, but when Waltman attempted the Bronco Buster, his opponent moved -- and Waltman hit the uncovered steel turnbuckle. He immediately tore his anus, but he finished the match (and even attended the after party) out of respect for Lynn. Back at his hotel room, though, he realized the severity of the injury (and saw how much blood he had lost) and called an ambulance. Doctors performed a sphincterplasty and Waltman was on the road to recovery.

Arguably the worst part was that it wasn't the first time. As Waltman later detailed, his first words to the referee after the injury were, "I TORE MY *SSHOLE AGAIN!"

Amused? Don't feel bad. As Waltman himself tweeted from the hopsital, "It hard not to laugh. So feel free to find it humorous."
