10 Weirdest AEW Main Events Ever

AEW have done plenty of product placement matches over the years, from the Cracker Barrel Clash at the first All Out to Leatherface showing up that one time, but one of their strangest brand deals went down on the November 15th 2023 edition of Dynamite.

The show was main-evented by an eight-man tag team street fight to promote the upcoming video game, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. Yes, that is a silly name, but it's par for the course for this series.

The two teams were Brian Cage and the Don Callis Family (Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher, and Powerhouse Hobbs) and the ragtag group of Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Kota Ibushi, and Paul Wight, all of whom were wearing suits.

This thing was absolutely bonkers. The eight men fought all over the arena, including backstage, and took part in some spots that could best be described as "wacky". Ibushi rode a bike into someone, for crying out loud! And people say wrestling isn't a serious sport.

The good guys won in the end when Omega pinned Cage, bringing to a close a wild show-ender that hopefully shifted a lot of copies of the game.
