10 Weirdest Jobs Wrestlers Had Before They Were Stars
1. Brodie Lee Librarian
Before he was revealed as AEW's long awaited 'Exalted One' and even before he was running around wild eyed on WWE programming as The Wyatt Family's Luke Harper, Brodie Lee found himself in the most unlikely of positions.
Lee worked as a librarian for a city school whilst also appearing as a wrestler on the independent scene. He told host Chris Jericho on the Talk is Jericho podcast back in 2015 that he "was actually the keeper of the text books and stuff, but I helped in the library."
Jericho also nudged the former Intercontinental Champion by suggesting that he must have been forced to wear turtle necks and jackets with patches for that particular job, but Lee responded by saying he looked exactly how he looks now.
Harper would eventually lose this job after breaking his leg at an indie show.
Lee was eventually signed by WWE a few years later so it all worked out in the end. However, it's a miracle that Vince McMahon didn't learn of his prior occupation and repackage the towering one-of-a-kind talent as WWE's very own Librarian character, before AEW's Peter Avalon and Leva Bates were even on the scene.
