10 Weirdest Moments In CM Punk's WWE Career

7. Preaching At The Royal Rumble

Punk's early days of heel work primarily entailed him seizing every vocal opportunity to explain to audiences why he was better than everyone else for being straight edge. One of the most enjoyably ridiculous episodes of this saga was during the 2010 Royale Rumble. His time in the match wasn't extensive, but it was memorable.

When Punk entered at number three and successfully cleared house, he then grabbed the mic and proceeded to preach salvation to every opponent he faced and eliminated. There was almost as much talking from the man as there was wrestling. It's CM Punk after all.

His egotistical chants grew ever more fanatical with each elimination and he ended up sporting a continuous expression of elation, which looked twisted by all accounts. He kept his mad preacher momentum going right until the point when Triple H made his entry, and settled a preexisting score by throwing Punk over the top rope.

A Triple H/CM Punk standoff where Punk was the bad guy? Yup, it happened.
