10 Weirdest Wrestler Cameos In Movies
7. The Big Show - MacGruber
Will Forte’s would-be star-making turn in 2010’s action flick spoof MacGruber is wildly underrated, to the point that we could almost excuse the actor stealing Matthew Lillard’s Shaggy voice-over gig in the latest iteration of the Scooby Doo franchise. The movie is the best send up of tough guy heroics since Hot Shots! Part Deux and Forte, along with director Jorma Taccone of The Lonely Island fame, manages to successfully take aim at pretty much every macho movie cliché imaginable.
Among these is the requisite scene, owing to everything since The Magnificent Seven, where Forte’s titular agent assembles a crack squad - an A-Team of Expendables, if you will - only to end up blowing them to pieces by accident before we even get to see them in action.
And who is this dream team composed of? None other than WWE’s finest (well, most of them - sorry, Cena and Punk). Kane, Jericho, and the Big Show all put in their second appearance in this list, only to be offed moments after arrival. Classic.
