10 Weirdest WWE Raw Main Events Ever

6. Mr. Kennedy vs Marty Jannetty - December 10th 2007

Harvey Wippleman vs. Howard Finkel

Marty Jannetty main eventing an episode of Raw in 1993 wouldn't have seemed out of place.

Marty Jannetty main eventing an episode of Raw in 2007? That's a whole different ball game.

The former Rocker and King of the Second Chance had returned to Raw in 2005 for a one-night reunion with Shawn Michaels and would crop up a few times over the next couple of years. On December 10th 2007, which was the night Raw celebrated its 15th anniversary, he appeared alongside HBK once again and ran afoul of his rival at the time, Mr. Kennedy.

Kennedy and Jannetty had the final match on the show - the actual closing segment was Vince McMahon getting beaten up by The Undertaker and Stone Cold - and whilst he didn't light the world of fire, Party Marty certainly didn't embarrass himself.

Even WWE weren't mad enough to have Kennedy lose here, as he pinned MJ with a DDT after just under six minutes. As for Marty, he would actually wrestle his final Raw match two years later, when he lost to The Miz in a match that, mercifully, didn't go on last.
