5. Sara vs Diamond Dallas Page - August 20th 2001
Perhaps the biggest loser of the entire Invasion storyline in 2001 was Diamond Dallas Page. Actually, the biggest losers were the poor schmucks at home who had to watch it, but in terms of actual wrestlers, DDP got shafted.
A multiple-time WCW Champion, Page was nerfed as soon as he set foot in the company, getting beaten half to death by The Undertaker in one of his first appearances. His greatest humiliation came on the night of August 20th, when he had an honest-to-goodness match with Taker's then-wife Sara on Raw.
This kind of made sense - Page had debuted as Sara's mysterious stalker - but the execution was completely off. Mrs. Taker slapped Page, which he shrugged off, only for the Deadman to yank him out of the ring, chokeslam him on the floor, and then roll him back inside for Sara to get the pin.
A bonafide legend had just been beaten by an untrained woman who was about half his size. DDP's WWE career was already in the gutter by this point, but this baffling decision cemented the fact that his glory days were truly over.
