10 Wild Outside Bets To Win WWE 2019 Men's Royal Rumble

5. Shinsuke Nakamura

The prospect of Shinsuke Nakamura winning a Royal Rumble is just as unfeasible this time around as it was last year - but for very different reasons.

Even in 2018, the thought of a Japanese wrestler headlining WrestleMania remained entirely inconceivable. Despite being better equipped to do so than just about any of the Far Eastern superstars who had preceded him, Nakamura's relatively unenthusiastic main roster run seemed to have dampened the possibility.

That made his eventual win - after overcoming the old guard tease - all the sweeter, not to mention unexpected.

Saliva quickly pooled on the carpet in anticipation of the WrestleMania classic Shinsuke could share with AJ Styles. It turned out to be so much wasted goss; the pair's dream rematch was a major let down - and this time, WWE couldn't be blamed.

The disappointing returns on Nakamura's surprise win make a repeat the last thing on most people's mind - and there's not too great an appetite for it. Sometimes, that's all the motivation WWE needs.

Probability: Hey, we said it wouldn't happen last year.

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
