10 Wild Outside Bets To Win WWE 2019 Women's Royal Rumble

4. Sasha Banks

The fact Sasha Banks is in the conversation about Royal Rumble 'outside bets' tells you what a complete and utter hash brown WWE have made of her main roster booking. Bank's status within the company had already dramatically descended by this time last year, but her habit of making history put her in automatic contention to take home the launch women's match, as a way of reinvigorating her if nothing else.

Banks came up short on the night, but put in an extremely strong showing suggesting things were looking up. Nope. Come WrestleMania, she wasn't even on the main card.

Since then, she's hit her creative nadir alongside fellow lost soul Bayley. At this stage, a Royal Rumble win is almost necessary to recover Sasha before she drifts into irrelevance. She still retains just enough residual cache for it to make sense.

Probability: WWE don't seem to trust Sasha, but the sun hasn't set on her yet - and she's one of the few true 'stars' in the mix.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
