http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x13m930_trish-stratus-vs-victoria-chicago-street-fight_sport By the time Victoria returned to WWE programming in summer 2002, Trish Stratus had been established as the face of women's wrestling in North America. She was clearly the top babyface on the Divas roster and was the woman Vince McMahon foresaw guiding his group of female talent into the future. She was tough, she was sexy and she had great merchandise and marketing appeal. Victoria was no slouch herself. Like Stratus, she was incredibly sexy and was built like a brick outhouse, thanks to her days in competitive fitness modeling. The raven-haired beauty had adopted a psychotic element and was the prototype for the absolutely insane Diva that AJ Lee would play to perfect a decade later. Obsessed with winning the Women's Championship and the destruction of Stratus, Victoria instantly became the top contender to the stunning Canadian's title. Together, they worked a brutal and violent Street Fight at Survivor Series 2002 that culminated in Victoria's first women's title victory. Over the course of her title reign, she would defend against Stratus in numerous matches across the country. Each bout improved upon the previous one, with their Chicago Street Fight on January 27, 2003 being the finest of all of their contests. It was smartly wrestled, the spots were interesting and popped the crowd and the finish established Victoria as a strong champion. Trish and Victoria would continue competing against one another over the course of the next three years, never really able to escape the other. Trish won more times than not but it was the established feud between the two that kept fans coming back for more. Whenever they shared the ring, the audience knew they could expect a quality match featuring two extremely talented and hard-working individuals. That is about as big a compliment as any in-ring performer can possibly receive.
