Seth Rollins entered Sunday's Elimination Chamber as the hottest star on the roster. The Kingslayer competed for over one hour this past Monday in the Gauntlet match and earned the respect of fans who may have forgotten how extraordinary a talent he is.

After beating Roman Reigns and John Cena clean in the center of the ring in that two-hour match, some fans even speculated WWE may be preparing to include The Architect in the main event of WrestleMania by way of an unexpected victory in the Elimination Chamber.

When the action boiled down to him, Reigns and the monstrous Braun Strowman, there was a sense of excitement as if Rollins may have a very real chance of winning.

Then, he became just another victim of The Monster Among Men.

Rollins ate the same powerslam four other Superstars had to that point and suddenly, every ounce of momentum he had built for himself was extinguished by the fact that he was no better or worse than every other Superstar that had fallen before him.

That his elimination was not executed in some grand fashion but, rather, a simplistic and uneventful manner only made matters worse.
