6. Maria Kanellis' Tearful Performance

Now here's one to make any lovers of the noble profession cry - or not, as the case may be.

Maria Kanellis might have a lot going for her as an on-screen character, but stage crying isn't amongst her talents. Judging by her attempt to turn on the waterworks after Dolph Ziggler ended their romantic association back in 2009, Mrs. Bennett didn't even attend the Joey Tribbiani school of tweezers-in-pocket method acting. Instead, she channelled her best Tim Curry corpsing as he leaves Earth, contorting her face in paroxysms of not-quite-but-entirely-unlike blubbering.

Honestly, she looked like she was trying to swallow an egg whole. These sort of facial gymnastics wouldn't have looked out of place in lie-em-up detective adventure LA Noire. That's absolutely not praise of Maria's performance.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
