10 Worst AEW Matches Ever (According To The Internet)

5. Dr. Britt Baker Vs. Big Swole - All Out 2020 (2.03)

Britt Baker
AEW

The cinematic match never stood a chance after the first Stadium Stampede because AEW perfected a one-off at the first time of asking. Stadium Stampede was a violent, irreverent and cathartic masterpiece, perfect levity for imperfect times, but the reality from which it acted as a distraction wasn't going away.

AEW did it again at the omni-cursed All Out 2020 in what could charitably be deemed as noble failure. Dr. Britt Baker was on fire throughout the closed-set Daily's Place era as an overbearing but very funny high-and-mighty heel who was impeccable at sending herself up. The eye-roll she pulled in the stands was the most funny was possible of registering boredom and disgust:

Fans petitioned for Baker to get a match on the main card, and they got it. They got the Tooth & Nail match, and it was rubbish. It was a hokey glorified walk-and-brawl necessitated because Baker wasn't fully cleared from injury, not that the match would've been particularly great if both were 100% fit and had trained at Olympic level in preparation.

A bizarre and unfunny horror comedy in which Rebel, ordinarily very funny, was just excruciating with her slapstick, the action, the jokes: none of it worked.
