10 Worst Case Booking Scenarios For WrestleMania 35

4. Triple H Gets Epic

The Triple H vs. Batista programme started with incredible promise.

'The Animal's' return angle was one of the year's most effective, with the Guardians Of The Galaxy star literally dragging a cameraman to Ric Flair's locker-room, then doing the same with the legend's battered, broken body. The quality has diminished as the weeks have progressed, but it's still a hot programme, and while these guys have a combined age of 99, they can have a successful WrestleMania match.

12-15 minutes, a smart layout, brawling, weapon spots, and all kinds of smoke and mirrors. That's the formula. Unfortunately, Triple H's 'Mania track record suggests this won't be the route 'The Game' takes.

Hunter loves his big, bloated, methodical WrestleMania epics. He can't help himself, and while Batista's inactivity should make him think twice in 2019, the possibility can't be ruled out. There's every chance that he's going to try to drag a gassed Big Dave through 30-35 of tedium. This could render the match borderline unwatchable, though it'd take a Herculean effort for Triple H to stoop any lower than Super Show-Down's horror show versus The Undertaker.
