10 Worst Case Scenarios For WWE WrestleMania 34
5. Sheamus Vs. Cesaro
If Seth vs. Dean has the whiff of Y2J vs. Owens, then this would, in some ways, be a re-hash of Wyatt vs. Orton.
Not in the sense of maggots and doll's heads, of course, but in terms of feuding, becoming allies, breaking up, then feuding again. It's a match that we've already seen countless times, no matter how much you dress it up for WrestleMania.
Despite some initial resistance, fans have warmed to the pair as a tag team, and - unless they have plans to push Cesaro towards the main event at long last (which, you suspect, they don't) - it's probably best to keep them together for the foreseeable future.
If they do have to go at it again, though, it should be on another show - the encounter just isn't worthy of a singles match on the Grandest Stage anymore by the frequency of its use.
