10 Worst Champions Of The Best Titles In Wrestling

5. Mr. McMahon - ECW Championship

What better way for Vince McMahon to draw heat than to purchase ECW, put himself in a 3-on-1 match against the champion, and put the rival company's strap on himself afterward? We're talking EC f'n W here. A promotion with a rabid fan base. If it was heartbreaking for ECW fans to see the company fold, it was devastating to see the belt on Mr. McMahon of all people. Won in the aforementioned 3-on-1 against Lashley (Vince had son Shane and Umaga on his team), Vince successfully defended the title one time...kind of. It was yet again a 3-on-1 against Lashley, and Lashley pinned Shane McMahon. Vince retained the belt, claiming it could only switch hands if Lashley beat Vince. Soon after, at One Night Stand, Bobby Lashley did just that. Despite interference, Lashley ended Mr. McMahon's one and only ECW title reign. Vince McMahon: Great promoter, terrible ECW champion.
