Right, final worked excuse.

What do you remember about the 1994 Royal Rumble? Owen Hart 'kicking Bret's leg out from under his leg'? The Undertaker ascending to the heavens? The memorable finish involving Bret and Lex Luger? How about the fact that the "30-man" Rumble only had 29 entrants?

It's true. None other than Bastion Booger was supposed to be in there at #25, but the big man wouldn't make it to the ring at all. On commentary, Vince McMahon hinted that Bastion had maybe munched too much grub at catering during the day and ended up feeling unwell as a result. What a greedy b*stard!

This, obviously, was one of the most insulting gimmicks the promotion had ever given any wrestler. Mike Shaw wore the least flattering singlet of all the times, and was booked as a glutton who wrecked his own WrestleMania chances because those burgers/turkey legs/literally everything at catering proved too tasty.
