When The Nexus arrived in WWE, they had all the potential in the world. The eight rookies had one of the most talked about debuts in wrestling history, beating down John Cena, CM Punk and destroying the entire Raw set. After losing nearly every big match in their time together, Wade Barrett would be removed as the leader of the group.

Barret would be quickly joined by Nexus running buddies Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel, as well as newcomer Ezekiel Jackson, to form The Corre. Once again, Wade would fail to live up to his potential, leading The Corre to a disastrous five months together. The foursome would lose their only WrestleMania match in just two minutes, before being embarrassed by John Cena and The Rock the following night.

Ezekiel Jackson would not be long for The Corre, as he would walk out on the Nexus alums, starting his own lacklustre face turn. The rest of the group would shortly thereafter dissolve; their lasting legacy being a meaningless five-month feud with The Big Show spanning the entirety of the stable's existence.
