10 Worst Final Champions In Wrestling History

2. Jim Duggan - WCW World Television Championship

It's fairly common for a wrestler to have a bad start or a bad ending to a title reign, but "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, the final WCW World Television Champion, had both.

Duggan, who was in his mid-forties and way past his prime, "won" the coveted title after finding it in the bin in February of 2000. No, really, that's what happened. Scott Hall chucked the belt away and then Duggan found it three months later. In a different state. Ugh.

The 2x4 swinging patriot would carry the title for 54 days, mostly defending it against Fit Finlay, before he and every other champion was stripped of their gold during WCW's great reset. So, who won the title next? Nobody! Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo both completely forgot about it and the belt was retired off-screen!

So, to clarify, a middle-aged man who could barely move won and lost a title without beating anybody. The same title that had been held by everyone from Arn Anderson to Ricky Steamboat, Ric Flair to Steve Austin.

WCW in the year 2000 - it really was as bad as everyone says.
