10 Worst Gimmicks For The Best Wrestlers

9. Tanga Loa

Tanga Loa is the son of wrestling great King Tonga aka Haku. Loa is a member of a very successful tag team with his brother, Tama Tonga, called The Guerillas of Destiny. They are six-time IWGP Tag Team Champions and have also been Ring Of Honor Tag Team Champions.

Loa's wrestling career started in WWE’s developmental system and although he did make it to the main roster, his career never had a legitimate chance to flourish. It didn’t help that WWE gave him a shallow, stereotypical gimmick to work with in 2011.

Loa, then known as Camacho, was teamed with Hunico who was coming off a nice run working as Sin Cara. Despite the team’s potential, they wouldn’t be able to overcome a poor gimmick. Their presentation was very similar to the equally bad stereotypical Mexicools gimmick from the early 2000s. The team soon split and Loa was released.
